Submit a Public Comment for the 8/7 Blue Cross Hearing

On August 7th, the California Department of Managed Health Care is holding a public hearing in Los Angeles about Blue Cross' business practices since 2004.

This follows over 1,600 complaints about premium increases, benefit cuts, cancelled policies and other practices at Blue Cross -- the same Blue Cross that earlier this year shipped almost a billion dollars of our health care dollars to its parents company in Indiana. We know that these complaints represent just the tip of the iceberg.

You have an opportunity to speak directly to the people who have the power to make Blue Cross clean up its act. The DMHC is accepting public comments about Blue Cross, and if you're planning on attending the hearing, people who turn in comments by 5:00 PM on August 2nd will get priority for actually speaking at the hearing.

So if you’ve had a problem with Blue Cross, or know someone who has, this is the perfect time to speak out. Submit a public comment to the Department of Managed Health Care by August 2nd so that it can be part of the official record for the hearing. It doesn’t need to be long and any member of the public may submit a comment (whether you’re a Blue Cross policy holder or not).

Speak up now and make your voice heard!

Simply complete the form below and we will send your comment to the Department of Managed Health Care immediately.
